A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is a device for measuring the physical geometrical characteristics of an object. At its most basic a coordinate is a point, a fixed singular location in three-dimensional space. With our Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) we analyze 3D parts to compare measurements, positions, shapes, tolerances, and surface curvature with the 3D data. The measuring instrument provides detailed graphic reports of the product quality allowing us to observe any imperfections.

At Tuowei Prototype we understand very well that the color of your finished product can be as important as its function. We offer extensive color matching services using standardized lighting conditions. We've recently invested in colorimeter to help clients better visualize the finished look of molded plastic parts.

Hardness may be defined as a material's resistance to permanent indentation. There are several scales of durometer, used for materials with different properties. The two most common scales, using slightly different measurement systems, are the ASTM D2240 type A and type D scales. The A scale is for softer plastics, while the D scale is for harder ones. Tuowei has these 2 kinds of types to ensure the soft and hard plastics have the correct hardness.

For the machined holes, clients usually have a very strict requirement about tolerance as the correct hole can make sure the assembly correct. Tuowei Prototype puts the round plug with a different grade in the holes. If the plug is suitable for the holes, then the tolerance is ok; if the plug can't be put in and much smaller than the hole, then the tolerance is incorrect. This is a very easy way to test and make a correct hole, and the tool is also portable with greater convenience for our clients.
