We have 14 years of experience in making Aluminum Alloy prototype and 14 sets of drilling and tapping machines so far. They have high accuracy which can reach up to 0.05mm. The tolerance of prototype is nearly 0.06mm after polished, which is very precise in the industry. The following Aluminum Alloy prototype is a Cavity prototype we made, which is made by CNC Machining and the surface finishing is generally polished to clean up the burrs and chamfers to make it smooth.
The process of making Cavity prototype
CNC machining: input the commands into Computer Numerical Control center and implement the command, tungsten steel knife will move on the material according to the tooling path and eliminate the spare parts finally.
polishing: there are some burrs and rough parts on the prototype after cnc machined, it needs to be hand-deburred by sandpaper, but deburring the aluminum prototype is more difficult than plastic prototype.
