Project Details:
A prototype is an early sample, model, or release of a product built to test a concept or process or to act as a thing to be replicated or learned from. An architecture rapid prototype is designed to test the appearance, it became more and more popular, the purpose to make it not only save a real building cost but also achieve a different look.
How the part/component was made:
The architecture rapid prototype is cultural and art museum building, was made by CNC machining, with PMMA material which can be with very shinny and beautiful look. After CNC machined, the part was high polished to be very transparent, after finished the surface process, We shown to our client, they liked transparent look, but still had no big feeling. Asked whether we can add more details make it have modelling effect or not. After we discussed, we got a good idea. If we add some irregular lines, may be can match client's requirement. We CNC machined the lines and high polished again.
When we shared the pictures with our client. they were shocked for the final prototype and thanked for our help. they promised to recommend more clients to us and give us more orders in the future.
