1. Shrink and easy to deform. Since the vacuum compound mold uses the principle of thermal expansion and cold contraction, if we prototype according to the size above the customer's drawings, after the liquid cooling in the silicone mold, it is bound to shrink some, resulting in deformation. Generally, the vacuum mold is used to make the prototype. When making the silicone mold, it should be done bigger than the size above. 2. The high temperature resistance is low. Since the material of the vacuum compound mold is liquid, it is cooled after high temperature heating, therefore, in terms of performance, it is not as good as that directly processed on the plate. Usually, the prototype processed by CNC can reach about 100 degrees in terms of high temperature resistance, while the prototype of vacuum re-molded can only withstand high temperature of about 60 degrees. In addition, the prototype of vacuum re-molded is not as convenient as the prototype of CNC machining in strength and hardness.

Advantages of vacuum compound mold:
