Are breast implants linked to suicide?

There are many known risks associated with breast implants and there is considerable controversy about silicone implants that are allowed to return to the United StatesS.

Several studies, including one published in the August 2007 issue of the plastic surgery Yearbook, found a link between breast augmentation and an increase in female suicide rates.

The August 2007 study surveyed 3,527 Swedish women who had breast enhancement operations between 1965 and 1993.
