Light painting with a 3D printer produces awesome, hologram-like artwork

You may not be able to draw with all the colors of the wind yet, a Pocahontas, but now, artists Ekaggrat Singh Kalsi and Daniel Canogar have discovered how to draw with light using a 3D printer.
This revolutionary new technology adds a whole new dimension to a relatively good environment
The established practice of light painting, both art and technology communities, is busy with its possibilities.
Their projects are different, using different applications of 3D printing to achieve the effect they want, but both results are very spectacular.
In Kalsi\'s work, he draws on a slightly more familiar 3D printing practice-the \"slice\" light to make floating portraits.
Watching this process is equivalent to watching a holographic image being formed, one line at a time.
As Kalsi explained in his Vimeo post, the portrait was made by connecting to the \"rgb led\" on the 3dr printer.
\"The most interesting aspect of Kalsi\'s work is probably that when the portrait is created, it is invisible to the human eye.
But the video was amazing.
This is not the first time such technology has been developed. -
Last year, a group of students at Carnegie Mellon University created a huge robotic arm that could do the same.
But Kalsi\'s modified 3D printer is more like home.
It was friendly to us who had no space to accommodate the industry.
The size of the machine.
Kaishi also improved his existing design as he previously released the monotonous light printer in June 20 for 14 years, but his latest results created the fullcolor images.
On the other hand, Canogar\'s work uses LED tiles made specifically for these projects to create a \"sculpture LED screen \".
\"Because these LED tiles are very flexible, Canogar is able to bend and distort the screen into\" complex curved shapes \",\" inviting viewers to explore them from different angles \".
In his own Vimeo post, Canogar said that this application of light printing allows viewers to gain different experiences from different vantage points and take advantage of the public --
It is the participation performance of Canogar\'s \"signature method. \"He adds, \"[The pieces\']
Circular forms invite viewers to explore them from different angles.
The shape of these hanging artworks reflects the specific features of the building containing them, as well as the flow of pedestrians circulating below them.
\"Thanks for the intersection of technology and art.
