Too big for Objet?
Do you want to elaborate on support deletion?
Don\'t you want to wait for the shape?
Full color is required but MCor does not work?
Sounds like you might have the perfect print for Zcorp 450!
Zcorp is a bit different from any other printer on the dock.
Its process is based on the laying of very fine powder layers and the use of a spray head to spray the adhesive that blends the powder together.
It is one of the printing methods with the highest resolution, the fastest speed and the most widely used.
It is conceptually very similar to how a 2D printer works, and in fact many of its components are taken directly from a 2D printer.
Finally, it\'s also one order of magnitude cheaper than Objet printing.
Although it has many advantages, it has several main disadvantages: it is a very picky machine and requires a lot of cleaning to keep it running.
Although the parts it produces can be very detailed or thick, they are not very strong.
I will introduce the basic settings of the machine, the file settings, sending the print, cleaning and basically deleting the print in that description.
I will introduce the method of curing the printed matter in other instructions here (coming soon).
Let\'s get started!
If you are looking for what to make on Zcorp or how to publish a print, please click on the Zcorp 450 3D printer (
Currently located in the lower left corner of Pier 9 3D printing shop)
The files that print the printer can print 8x10x8 \"in high resolution \".
It can print features with a thickness of about 1mm.
It can also print full color, you need a VMRL or OBJ/MTL file for full color. For mono-
The colors using STL, OBJ, or PLY files work fine.
Cleaning Supplies (
Available in Objet cart)
The 91% alcohol spray microfibre wiipesthe printer may be in sleep mode when you first arrive at it.
Tap the black knob once to wake it up.
It should now be said \"online/preheated \".
The first thing we need to do is prepare to build the room.
This is the silver area with holes in the front of the machine.
This is where you print.
Since we are going to use the silver handle to clean the printer to open the door, it is heavy and slippery, make sure that nothing at the top of the machine will be knocked down.
Scroll through the main menu on the LCD panel until \"ready to build Room\" is displayed and click the black button to select.
It will ask you to confirm that the bed is empty and the station is clean
We will clean up the station later, so if there is nothing on the building bed, just click OK \".
The bed will automatically rise to its full height position.
Now we need to disable the movement of the arm in order to clean the print area safely.
Open the 3d printing app from the desktop.
Make sure the build volume is cleared, then navigate to the Tools tab, then navigate to the services button and open. (
Tools> Services> unpark).
The printer will leave its home and you can move your arms with your hands.
Start the vacuum on the machine with LCD.
Use the hose to clean the powder around the bed as much as possible.
Manually move the arm to the front of the machine to remove all the powder on the surface of the arm and behind the arm.
Put the vacuum back into the container and the vacuum should stop automatically.
The next step is to clean the cleaning station in front of the left side of the building volume.
Remove the arm and open the hatch.
Use alcohol and a rag to clean the wipers of any hardened powder.
Clean up the residual liquid and powder.
Make sure the small white wash is moist and clean. Close the cap.
The last part of the machine was cleaned at the Park station.
This is very important and is often missed.
This pad covers the head when the printer is idle, making sure they don\'t dry.
It is located on the left rear of the machine and the head stops there when not in use.
Wipe the rubber pad clean with alcohol.
The printer should not be clean and there is no powder at all in the building area.
Make sure everything is clear in the building area, the vacuum is back in the container again, back on the screen and click OK to restart
Stop the printer.
We are ready to print now!
Now go back to the 3d printing interface, in the home tab of the open file.
I opened a monochrome print of a fruit bowl.
You need to confirm your unit and scale your parts if needed.
Do not change the powder type, zp151 is currently loaded by the printer.
Depending on the size and complexity of the model, it can take several minutes to load.
If the file is very complex, the model may be displayed in \"quick render\" mode.
To change the display mode, go to view> quick render \".
Here, you can also switch the 2D display of the model, and by scrolling the layer of the model, you can visually see if there is anything strange in the model that needs to be modified.
If everything looks good then it\'s time to send your file.
Then go back to the home tab to build.
Build the entire print by next (
This is where you can resume a stagnant print on a certain level).
The printer status dialog box will now appear.
This is the last dialog box before the print starts.
Here you can confirm that the printer is ready.
You can also enable auto-go
Powder, by clicking \"empty build board after printing\" in the lower left corner, this is useful for larger printing.
Once you are satisfied with setting \"print.
After clicking print, the printer will start filling the build bed and then printing.
It will sweep the powder onto the build board and build the base layer.
After the fill is completed, the layer being printed will be displayed in black on the screen.
The number of layers will also appear on the LCD interface.
Make sure the binder comes out before leaving the print check.
Looking at the head moving while printing the binder, the white shape should correspond to the part shape on the interface.
Once you are sure that there are several layers working, it is safe to leave and make the printer work.
The print dialog box will show the remaining time and the completion time. Woohoo!
The print is finished!
The machine doesn\'t look like it, but the interface will tell you that the print is ready.
If your print is more automatic than you can use
Hair removal procedure on printer.
This is to automatically remove all the powder around the part and show its mummy style!
The LCD on the main menu goes to buildchamber> emptybuildchamber and then press to start automatic depowdering.
After the routine is done, the powder will begin to disappear into the bed, and most of your parts should have no powder.
If you want to activate the vacuum and remove any residual powder using a brush.
Move this part to the right as the door is still open
Powder side of the machine. Close the door.
Go into deep render mode and it takes a second to warm up and you will hear the air compressor on.
Use the air hose on the right side of the machine to remove any residual powder from the parts.
In order for you to have any post-processing of the work, all loose powders must be removed.
Make sure to flip your part and use an air gun from all sides.
When the powder is removed, put the part back on the grid base and turn off the depilation.
Wait for the dust to settle, then open the door and remove your part.
After the print is finished, it\'s time to clean up the machine again.
Restart the vacuum and remove all visible powders from the build plate and build area of the machine. Un-
Arms and re-park
Clean the family station and the cleaning station.
Make the printer cleaner than you find and make sure you Park again.
Check if the vacuum filter has any widgets that may break during printing.
This is the black panel in the upper right corner of the building room.
Remove the filter and clear it into the trash can and do not clean it. Any moisture will damage the printer.
Replace the filter with the open side up. That\'s it!
Zorp is ready for the next person.
